ARTIST | PRODUCER | SONGWRITER

I am writing this myself so we can get straight to the point. My name is Benny Cassette, my life is my music and my mission in is to take over the world with my creations. I am an artist. Usually that means creating music to get my point across but sometimes it’s making a video, a painting, a drawing on a napkin, spray painting on the freeway, or sewing my own clothes.

My favorite thing to do is to perform. It doesn’t matter if people are watching or not because either way I see 50,000 people when I close my eyes and I will give a show for those thousands of people regardless if you see them or not. I am a scientist and the world is a laboratory so I don’t let opinions effect me because this is all just an exciting experiment anyway.

I’m not going to tell you how incredible or great my music is. You will see for yourself. I recommend you watch my videos then come to a performance then take me out for coffee and then form your opinion, but I feel confident that it will be in my favor. My music consists of rapping, singing, drums that are made for clubs, stories about my life as a misfit in Los Angeles, hope, and hooks that I hope everyone (including non-english speakers) can sing along with. Enough, just go listen. I love fashion. As I write this I’m wearing vintage Dior and YSL with Gucci slippers. If we all dress alike we might as well all work in cubicles. Not me.

I speak a little Italian and Spanish because of where I grew up. I also am well versed in Angelino slang and Corporate Euro-speak. I don’t like gimmicks. The biggest gimmick of all is trying to fit in and be ‘normal’. I will always be myself no matter what. Crazy is a compliment. The most beautiful thing in the world is my Grandmother’s apple pie. If we have coffee I will bring some. We live in a time where we all want to escape so I will blur the lines between fantasy and reality. Life is theatre and I think of myself as a performance artist. Even as a kid I liked to perform in front of everyone at family functions. Anything for entertainment.I have Faith that music can move the world still. Bono is my idle.I am inspired by falling in love, heartbreak, the future, pre-1980 French and Italian films, fashion designers that are over 50, impressionist paintings, women with accents, and all things that most people find “ugly”. My only fear is failure..it terrifies me. And when I say failure I mean not doing what I was put here to do. I consider myself a role model except when I curse in a song because I have to get my point across. I look forward to world domination and meeting everyone very soon. #ARTCLB.
